The Embassy of Austria presented a delightful evening of Austrian and Russian music featuring a Celebration of Austrian and Russian Compositions: Twilight Rapture with  Irina Mozyleva, soprano
Audrey Babcock, mezzo-soprano, Vera Danchenko-Stern, piano and Genadi Zagor, piano.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan presented The Silk Road Dance Company

The Embassy of Uzbekistan presented The Silk Road Dance Company’s special performance of Uzbek dances. Since its inception in 1995 the Silk Road Dance Company (SRDC) has delighted audiences around the country with traditional and fusion dances from the Middle East and Central Asia. Performing Uzbek, Afghani, Tadjik, Azerbaijani, Kurdish, Persian, and Egyptian dance techniques rarely seen in the United States, their performances offer a unique glimpse of the life, culture, and art of little known regions.
The evening featured a dinner buffet feast of traditional Uzbek delicacies, a performance of Uzbek dances, as well as a wonderful opportunity to tour the embassy’s rare collection of beautiful paintings and art pieces.

Embassy of Ukraine presented a holiday evening featuring a dinner buffet feast of traditional Ukrainian delicacies, as well as a delightful musical performance of traditional Ukrainian musical compositions performed by the Kalynon'ka Duet.

In concert, de Barros re-creates the electric and eclectic atmosphere of a contemporary Cape Verde club, blending traditional
Criolu daubed with bright flecks of Latin pop and African soul.

Described by The New York Times as simply "irresistible", Maria de Barros takes audiences on a joyful musical journey that transcends languages and cultures in an exhilarating celebration of diversity.

Maria connected with the audience and had  the Embassy France rocking.
